Your success strategy has been...

The Sponge

You learned to succeed by being the one who carries things.

The bags, the emotional load, the thing nobody else wanted to hold.

You didn't volunteer, exactly. It just became yours over time, the way responsibilities do when you're the person who can handle them.

Somewhere along the way, carrying it all stopped feeling like strength and started to feel like the only option you had.

You might notice yourself...

  • Already knowing what needs doing before anyone has asked.

  • Over the years you've become the person everyone leans on when life gets messy.

  • You absorb the slow leak of everyone else's work stress without anyone really noticing that's what's happening.

  • What you might not have said out loud yet is how heavy it actually is.

This strategy isn't the problem.

It's one of the reasons you've achieved so much.

The more you carry, the more invisible your carrying becomes.

People stop seeing it because you've made it look easy, and they assume easy means light.
You don't correct them.

You'd rather just keep going than have the conversation about what it costs.

Somewhere in the last few years you've started to lose track of what you actually want.
Not the big things. The small ones.
What you feel like eating. How you want to spend a Sunday. Whether you want to go.

The answers come slower now, or not at all, because you've spent so long focused on everyone else that your own preferences have gone quiet.

You probably assumed you'd feel differently once life calmed down. It hasn't calmed down.

And underneath all the carrying, there's a question you haven't had time to ask yourself in years: what do I actually want, separate from what everyone else needs?

Somewhere along the way...
You've outgrown the strategy that built your success.

But what replaces it when carrying everything isn't the strategy that gets you to the next chapter of your life?

Who We Are

Hi! I'm Jo.

Before becoming an Executive Coach, I spent nearly 20 years as a senior executive, Chief Marketing Officer and board director, leading teams across Asia Pacific.

Again and again, I noticed the same thing.

Women were trying to solve today's challenges using the same way of succeeding that had worked for years.

That's what led me to develop the Success Strategy framework we're exploring together today.
